Solution: Make your fish look wet

(upbeat music) - [Instructor] In our challenge video, I asked you to go ahead, and make our character look a little bit more wet, and to play with that bright blue, maybe making it kind of glow brightly or something. Okay, let's find out how to do that. It all happens with this awesome principled BSDF material that we have right here inside Blender. Make sure you have our low-res fish selected. And the very first thing you need to do is just drag your roughness down. That'll give your fish a wet-ish appearance but it might look a little plastic-y. So, you probably want to play a little bit with metallic, maybe just a teeny bit. You can also adjust the specularity, but be careful don't overdo it or you'll give it too much of a plastic feel. Just a little bit should be enough. There you go. Now, if you went ahead and played with a lot of the things inside this material, you might've uncovered something called emission.…
