- [Jim] Hi, Jim Rogers here with another episode of Bluebeam Tips and Tricks. As the series progressed, I've shown you some different ways to stay organized and some different ways to keep your drawings from getting too cluttered, like using the layers feature that's built into Bluebeam. I've also shown you how to use the Tool Chest, that's built into Bluebeam, to organize some of your markups and even import and create custom markup tools. In this episode, what I want to do is, combine those two discussions and talk about how we can make Bluebeam automatically assign a markup tool to a layer that we've already created. So, let's take a look. I've created a layer here called Punchlist, and in my Tool Chest I have a set of custom tools that is my Punchkey Plan, my Punchkey markup tools.
