- So far in this weekly series, I've stayed focused on the topic of digital construction drawings. Now make no mistake, I picked that first because I think that the tools that I've shown you that are available right now absolutely enable us to get rid of those rolls of paper plans and go digital, both in the office, and out on the job site. And I think that these are some of the most important construction tools that technology has given us so far. I also think that they are still very under utilized. Now I know, I know, lots of projects big and small are using digital drawings in one way or another, but I'm saying that I see very few of them that are all in. Our foremen working for the trades that are executing this work out in the field are still, for the most part, carrying paper drawings, and that needs to change. If you've watched the weekly installments so far, you've seen several readily available tools for using digital drawings out in the field, and hopefully that's convinced…
