Interactive component overview
- Beyond styles, Bootstrap provides components to help you add interactive features to your sites. Now, these components work with JavaScript and jQuery to deliver content that depends on user interaction. Tooltips are probably the most basic of these components. They provide a simple action that displays when you hover over links. Whereas popovers let you toggle more complex content when someone clicks on an element. Alerts insert content into existing content depending on user interaction, for example, when a user makes a mistake and you want to display an inline error message, perhaps during form input. Dropdowns, used most commonly in menus, display additional content beneath an element. Collapses and accordions are used to contract or expand content. Modals are a way of creating alerts and dialog boxes to display things like images or additional pieces of data. It has a pretty rich set of styles to control how things are displayed.
