- [Instructor] Now that we've dug into the basics of HTML and your website content, we're going to take a look at another code base altogether, CSS, which we can use to define the look and feel of your site. CSS is also referred to as the styles that are applied to a website. If we were to compare your website to a magazine, your website's content, HTML elements, and pages would relate directly to the magazine's articles, images, and physical pages. The CSS styles will translate to the type of fonts and sizing the magazine might use, the layout of information on each page, the color schemes use throughout the pages, the sizing of the images, et cetera. For our purposes, we're only going to discuss inline styles, but you should know that most developers define their CSS styles in a different file.
