Comparing prices of different-sized products

- Okay in this movie I'm gonna show you a couple of different ways that you can use to calculate which size of a product is less expensive per ounce or per pound. So this might come in handy if you're shopping at a store and you're comparing two sizes. I know the larger size is usually less expensive per unit, but just so you can check and see how they arrived at their number if there is one. So, let's say you're shopping for yogurt at a grocery store. I'll draw a couple of pictures for ya. Okay so the first way, and the way that you're usually gonna do this, is try to figure out what is the price per ounce for each size of yogurt? So if they don't already tell you at the store, this is what you're gonna do. You can take out your calculator, and just divide the total price by the number of ounces, and that'll give you the price per ounce. So we would divide $2.99 by 12, we would divide $3.69 by 16. So I'm gonna take out my calculator so we can check that math. Okay so if I put these…
