Jonathan's story

- My name is Jonathan. I'm a designer and I design websites. I had a project that spanned for three months. We had two designers in this project. I was one of them. And the first month was the strategy and planning. The second month was more for the content and copy. And the third month was for the design and development. My part was the strategy, working with the other designer, and the design and development. The other designer was part of the strategy and the second part, which was the copy, and the content. So yeah, the first month was fine, you know, he had some projects, I had some projects, so we found time every week to meet and kind of start the process. So at the end of the month, we had what we planned. We had a good idea of the architecture. We had a good idea of the content. And then, cool, second month, I was like okay, it's all yours. You take it from here. Then, you know, different weeks I checked with him, just touch base, how is everything, you know, he said he was working on things, so I was okay, you know. So when it got to the end of the second month, when it was my time to do the work, nothing was done. When I asked him, you know, for all the assets I was waiting for, he was, you know, finding excuses. So he was saying he had too much work on these other projects and people kept adding projects to his plate. So, you know, he was adding, he was just giving excuses. When I realized I had to take his work on, you know, I had to really rearrange my whole schedule for the rest of the quarter, but I didn't think he was going to do that to me because we were close, you know, we were good, we had like a good friendship, you know. So he wasn't really thinking about me because you know, I, even though his work wasn't done, I still had my deadline. So I still wanted to get it done. So I just think he wasn't thinking about other people or maybe he had a lot of projects that he really had to do, but when it came to my time, he had, you know, I was like now I have to do my work and his work so I need to plan the next weeks and I'm going to have to stay late and do more than, you know, than what I'm supposed to be doing.
