- Email is a large part of our daily lives and it can boost productivity or drain it. Understanding how best to use email to organize and retrieve information gives you another tool to make your paperless system more efficient and simple. Whether you use one of the major web-based email options like Yahoo or Gmail, or you use webmail through your own domain, the basic principles are the same. Your system may look a little different, but will likely have the same functionality I discuss in this movie. For the purpose of demonstration I will use Google's Gmail service. If you have a Gmail account log in by visiting gmail.com and entering your log in information. If you don't have an account yet you can create one on this same page by clicking the Create an Account link underneath the Sign in information. I'll use the log in I created earlier.
