- The most important measure of success in a data project isn't that it's just complete, but that it's also done accurately. This is one of the critical measures on which you should expect your data work to be evaluated. And if you have a team, you should communicate to them that accuracy is critical. If you do the analysis wrong, if the outcomes aren't right, if there are problems in the data along the way, if you used dirty data, if you accidentally inserted errors in your calculations, all of that will have an impact in the final implications. And if someone reviews your work and finds errors, it will be catastrophic. Some people's projects and end deliverables don't look very neat and some people run late, but if your analysis is inaccurate, that is a fatal flaw.
