- When you launch a new consulting brand, you probably are trying a lot of different marketing campaigns and channels to try and build awareness and new leads. Over time, you'll see that some work better than others, and you need to build systems to track and adjust your strategy based on those results. The first thing to ask yourself is, whether you were able to execute on the campaigns that you tried. Sometimes you say you're going to do something, but you just never get around to it. Did you write the articles, invite thought leaders to participate in your podcast or get involved with that trade association? If not, determine why. Did you not make time for it? Was it harder than it looked? Did you hate it? If you couldn't execute, you need to decide if you need help, a coach, assistant, or professional.
