- I'm a big fan of the GPS app Waze. I have her voice set on an Australian female accent, and I call her Wazy. When I'm driving the freeways of LA, Wazy helps guide me around all the inevitable traffic. Now, unfortunately, there isn't a GPS app for business, but wouldn't that be great? Traffic stopped ahead. Slow down. Avoid the impending merger and acquisition. Accident reported ahead in one quarter mile. Next quarter is going to be a disaster. Well, I think it'd be great because sometimes the route isn't clear. There isn't always a right way to go. It's dynamic and changing, due to all kinds of variables that we can't control or variables we don't understand. My point here is ambiguity is a part of work. Now, ambiguity is defined as the quality of being open to more than one interpretation. For example, in a matrix organization, the lines of responsibility and leadership may be blurry.
