- So we've looked at how the green person thinks and we've looked at some of the techniques that you might use to persuade them to do something. And if we look back at my six step process, let's just see how that fits. So it all starts with deciding what you want to do and I think that's an obvious start in any situation then we move on to building the relationship and that's huge with the greens. They're not going to do what you want unless they like you, unless they feel comfortable with you. So you have to put a lot of time into building that relationship. And the idea of reciprocity comes in here. So if you can do things for them, then later if you need to ask them for something in return, it will be much easier to get.
