- As you seek to successfully complete your work as well as assessing your team's output, A holistic view is important. You should be assessing not only yourself but also your team. This is when you have to ask the hard questions: Are you hanging on to dead weight just to get the work done, but the work is not even close to good? Are you finding yourself needing to redo an employee's work regularly? Frequently, I hear comments like, "It doesn't matter what they do or don't do. They will never be terminated."
