- As I think about authenticity as an enlightened leader, I think about showing up at work and in your life as your whole self. As you think about the amazing parts of technology, we can be accessible 24/7, and sometimes it may be difficult to compartmentalize your work life, your personal life. However, what I have found is the more authentic you are in bringing your whole self to everything that you are doing, the more receptive your teams can be, the more receptive your clients and customers are, because at the end of the day, people do business with people. People don't do business necessarily with companies. They want to understand who they are working with and how they are working with, and bringing your whole self is really important in doing that.
