- Have you ever had a boss or supervisor that came into help and they're helping look like them taking over. Bet you have, and I bet it didn't feel so good, did it? Now as a manager, I understand your desire to help, but I also know that when things are urgent or on fire, our reaction is to go in and do the work. Maybe you can do it faster. Maybe you think you can do it better. And guess what? As the manager, that's not your role.
