- Millions of working parents are facing challenges we would've never imagined: Unexpectedly working from home full-time with children full-time home as well. And the stresses are stark. Moreover, in times of crisis, we may be going without our usual escape valves or coping mechanisms. The drop-off at sports practice or birthday party, the date night, or the sleepover at grandma's. When the village can't be called upon, life gets harder. And the day to day can start to feel pretty overwhelming. Work-life balance is challenging enough while raising children, but when you're all under the same roof all day, day after day after day, well, you get it. Thankfully, psychological science has a lot that it can teach us about how to emerge from these challenging times with our relationships and our sanity in tact. I'm Dr. Andrea Bonior, a licensed clinical psychologist, professor, and author. In this course, we'll be using behavioral principles, my expertise, and my personal experience from having lived out these same challenges in order to enact a personal plan for you, to increase your work-life balance, decrease your stress, and embrace each day with new motivation and clarity.
