- 75% of employees dislike going through change. So generating enthusiasm for change must be really hard. It's even harder when you don't address the barriers to generating enthusiasm along the way. Let's take a look at the five most common enthusiasm blockers to account for. First, skepticism. If your reasons for change aren't convincing or if employees don't see the personal benefit to changing, good luck. Keep working how you frame the reasons for change until they feel air tight from the employee's perspective and shape the vision until the benefits are crystal clear. Apple excels at generating excitement when making a product change. They clearly illuminate the need for the change and make it feel like the consumer won't be able to live without the benefits.
