- [Instructor] Have you ever walked into a store and the only person that seemed to be working was dressed really sloppy? They were leaning on the counter, they were playing on their phone, and never even noticed that you came in. This has almost certainly happened to you more than once. This is a common trend today in customer service. Companies are working with tight budgets and likely they're understaffed. Even though this is a trend, it is not a positive trend. Let's talk about some barriers to customer service. Numerous obstacles stand in the way of the delivery of excellent customer service.
