Block out time for productivity

- Have you ever had a long to-do list and tried to get things done but feel like you get frustrated and constantly interrupted. This is increasingly an issue in open office layouts or even working from home. You'll feel so much more productive when you can block out parts of your day that are dedicated to specific tasks. Time-blocking is the practice of planning out your entire day in advance and dedicating specific time blocks for certain tasks and responsibilities. When you time block you can work uninterrupted ideally for several hours at a time to complete large chunks of projects. You'll want to start to implement time blocking into your calendar. And when you do you'll see incredible results in your productivity. One example of how to time block could be to block off several hours in your day for deep tasks or deep focus work, then block a shorter amount of time either two or three times throughout the day for shallow tasks like checking email.
