Building connection and engagement in virtual teams

- Remember the good old days when everyone was in the office all the time? So many organic opportunities to make connections and keep people engaged. A chat in the lift, a joke shared at the coffee dock, a quick huddle to agree that a well-earned celebration is required at the end of a really big week. All of these things are falling through the cracks of the virtual and even blended working setup and it's a loss. There is no question. These organic moments are responsible for the boosts that keep many of us going day to day. But as human beings, we're pretty good at finding ways to connect and engage with each other and our work. It's all about rethinking what's possible and reframing what's important. In this course, we'll look at ways you can rethink how to engage with your team members, both one-on-one and as a group, and how to reframe the tried and tested techniques proven to build connection and engagement so they work for your team, even in a virtual setup. I'm Erin Shrimpton, I'm a psychologist, coach, and expert in organizational behavior. And I work with people in teams to change workplace experience for the better.
