- Communication is a challenge in every company I've worked with. And when you add strong emotion to the communication mix, it gets even more challenging. We all have triggers, you're working, working, and then bam, someone does something that makes you angry. They triggered your anger. Maybe one of your employees goes over your head to get something they wanted that you had already said no to. Or employee is late for getting you the data you needed for big presentation that you have with the leaders in the company. Trigger, how do you respond? In this type of situation, you'll likely find yourself mentally preparing for a confrontation. One that's going to feel more like a battle than a confrontation.
