- Congratulations, you finished my influencing course. I hope you found it fascinating and I hope you picked up some practical techniques. And the main thing now is to try it. The whole world is out there for you to practice on. So wouldn't it be interesting to try my six steps on a real situation that you've got and just think about are there any of those steps that you don't tend to use enough that you could get better at. Do you spend enough time trying to understand their position or how good are you at phrasing your proposed solution? So just have a look one more time perhaps at my six steps and really make sure that you've got that in your head and try it on some real people.
