Contact university clubs and coworking spaces
- In a world where so many people work remote, there are great opportunities to network around coworking spaces. The minimum membership for most coworking spaces is quite low, and it gives you the ability to participate in their mixers. Many coworking spaces host events, and of course, coworking spaces are full of other people like you. The coffee bar and the kegerator can be like a proverbial water cooler, where you meet people and talk about business and life. There's also an organization that can be awesome, whether you work remote or not. That's ClubCorp, an organization that owns business clubs and golf courses all over the world. Members can use the facilities for meetings and use the restaurants and bars for business meetings and more. They host mixers and events as well, which can be great for networking opportunities.
