- A couple of guys I know, save their money. and after lots of planning they quit their jobs and started a lawn care business. They didn't mow grass though. They did fertilizer and weed control applications. They identified a few fancy neighborhoods and then hit the streets, working hard to attract customers. Every customer they added called for a celebration. They were beating their projections and felt like their endeavor was paying off. When people drove down the street, it was obvious who their customers were. Lush green grass with no weeds at all. The customer base grew, their customers were willing to pay whatever it took to look more impressive than the guy next door.
