Creating survey questions

- We've all been there. You're asked to take a quick survey, and 15 minutes later, you're still offering feedback. Lengthy and laborious surveys are about the fastest way to put an end to employee engagement. When you are designing a survey or questions for a feedback session, keep it short, to the point, and relevant. Start by considering the issues that have already been identified, and ask questions designed to see how people are feeling about the issues now. If tight deadlines have been identified as an issue, ask if your employees feel that they have enough time to get their work done. If transparency is an issue, ask if your employees feel they have a clear understanding of executive decisions. If you are interested in general feedback, I recommend asking questions around the five factors that have the greatest impact on the employee experience.
