- The inspirational leader provides a vision. And we all want a vision. We're a pack animal designed to hunt, we're designed to move forwards towards an objective. So, scoring goals in football or growing your company or making profit in the commercial world or making your region better in the public sector or just making a difference. Those are all visions that we want to move towards. If you think about slogans like, "Make America Great Again" or "Cool Britannia", those were visions put forward by politicians and the public think, "yeah, I want to do that. I want to move towards that vision." So, we all want to have somewhere we're heading towards. But can a middle manager create a vision just for their own area? And the answer is, yes you can.
