Creating a workshop vs. an experience

- You might hear an educational offer, something like a workbook being included. Well, I want to ask you a key question. What is part of the word, workbook, that may cause you concern? Work, no one really wants to work. Keep that in mind, everyone is looking for the magic pill or solution. Even though, you know deep down that it does take some good old-fashioned work ethic to achieve your goals, you like the thought that there could be some shortcuts or quicker ways of getting you there. Here's another example, along the same lines. Let's say you're learning photography. You've invested in a few online courses and you're getting better, but you really want to take it to the next level, and you'd like to know a little bit more about some of those settings on your camera. You might look into a photography workshop. Well, there's that word again, workshop. Let me ask you, would you rather go to a workshop or would you rather go to an experience? Interesting, right? Which one is more valuable, workshop or experience? We're all looking for experiences in life. It's baked into our DNA as humans. It's why we spend so much on travel and vacations. So if you have something to offer, consider making an experience out of it. If you have something that people can quickly see results with, look for the opportunity to communicate speed and ease. Some of my favorite words to use are instant, easy, plug and play, fill in the blank with the word now after it, and rapid results, 'cause it's got alliteration. Consider the words you are using to describe what's in your offer.
