(tones ringing) - Hi, and welcome to Day Two of Job Instruction. Day one covered the Supervisor's five needs, Faulty Instruction, Correct Instruction, and the four steps of JI. Day two covers Instruction Demonstrations, Writing a Job Breakdown, Preparing the Workplace, and Preparation for Day three. We'll start the day by doing some Instruction Demonstrations. Have one member of your group play the role of Instructor, and the other play the role of Learner. The Instructor in the Demonstration will teach the Learner how to do a job by following the four steps of JI. The other members of the group can follow along using the How to Instruct card. We'll ask the other members of the group to take note of how well the practice Instructors follow the four steps from the How to instruct side of the card.
