- Remember the days when distractions came in the form of a chatty co-worker? Well, if working from home has taught us anything, it's that leaf blowers, construction, and the people that we live with can be super loud. In a hybrid work plan, you'll be working remotely still, and it's time to tune out those disruptions. I have three ideas for you. Idea number one, make a list. This list should include everything that's distracting you when you're working from home. It could be friends or family texting or calling you during work hours or maybe it's social media posts, for instance. Whatever it is, write it down. That way, you will be better prepared to deal with it. Idea number two, make another list. I just can't help myself, but really, this is a different kind of list, the to-do list.
