- Clearly, deciding has been the focus of our time together. But before we wrap up, we need to talk about an important part of this process that is sometimes forgotten, assumed or not completely thought through. And that is communicating the decision. Just because the decision is clear in your mind doesn't mean that's true for others. And others might need more than a decision, but a rationale and a plan too. Here are some things that you can do to communicate clearer and raise the success rate of your decisions. Think about your audience. Have they been involved in the decision making process? Do they know what's going on? Do they know the background? Slow down and think about the decision and the outcomes from the audience's perspective.
