- So here we are, stuck in a positive feedback loop with our own panic and self doubt, just because one person hung up on us. We want to break the loop and assess the situation for what it really is. The prospect was having a bad day, or you just called them at the wrong time. Maybe we can just change our pitch slightly, and it'll be fine. While so is almost certainly true, it's hard to see that from inside our own heads. Our brain is worrying far too quickly, so we're not able to see logic right now. So, how can we slow down or even stop the loop entirely? Well, there are a few internal, and a few external events that might be able to help. Internal is within our own heads, external are factors outside of our own heads. So firstly, we have an external event that triggers an internal response, a good call.
