- As a manager, part of your role is to get results. That's why you were hired. Think about it this way. If you and your team never achieved anything worthwhile, how long would you be employed? Likely not very long. And you can't do it alone. Remember you're a leader or a manager, not an individual contributor. So you must learn to get great results with and through the efforts of others.
