- [Instructor] Now, let's review the different types of direct mail correspondence starting with postcards. Postcards are a very simple and inexpensive way to reach many people. There's no stuffing of envelopes, so it's very time efficient and it's also very easy to mass produce. Your message is quick and to the point, however, the downside to postcards is that typically they do get the lowest response rates. Now, if you do postcards, then I would recommend being as creative as possible because obviously you want it to stand out before somebody throws it in the trash. So, use a different colors and again, make your message quick and to the point. Alright, next we have yellow letters and yellow letters are basically handwritten letters that are on a yellow ruled paper.
