Employees are the lifeblood

- All too often, HR processes and programs are created with great intention, but end up transactional and just ticking the boxes. That's why you've probably heard the saying, "We need to put the human back into human resources." The workforce is changing, and today's employees expect a more human experience from HR, to management, to an organization's mission and vision, and employees are the lifeblood of an organization. They are your internal customer base that you need to keep happy. Studies show that an engaged workforce is one and a half times more productive, which can result in things like better customer services, a deeper talent pool, and a more profitable bottom line. So in this course, I want to teach you how to build a stellar employee experience for your employees to be their best selves, and for your organization to excel. I'm Mary Kennett. I'm an industrial organizational psychologist and an executive consultant, helping organizations achieve their vision through leadership, culture, progressive people practices, and the employee experience. The employee experience is a critical aspect to accelerate performance and business outcomes, and in this course, I'll teach you how to create a phenomenal employee experience. I'll teach you how to reframe your organization to be human-centered versus organization-centered. I'll provide strategies for how to offer growth opportunities, how to foster more trust in leadership, and how to connect employees to the community of the organization. I'll also offer a practical guide for how to measure the employee experience, what questions to ask, how to collect feedback, and how to handle negative feedback. Building a stellar employee experience is not about checking the boxes. It's about making sure that your employees feel respected, valued, and a part of your organization's mission, so each organization will have its own unique and wonderful version of the employee experience, and I encourage you to think about what that can look like for your team. So if you're ready, let's get started.
