- Half of what makes a great video presentation is planning out the things you will say and show, but the other half is anticipating things that could happen and go wrong that could detract from your meeting. So I'm talking about things like outside distractions. And even though they may be out of our control we can still take steps to minimize them. Because in the end we want to ensure we're preparing the most effective presentation yet. So some things to do to enhance your video meeting is to first, remember to mute yourself when you're not talking because sometimes we have outside or surrounding noises like music, honking or other people talking that can be picked up by the microphone. If you want to talk or chime in just remember to turn it back on. Second, make sure your phone is on silent before your video meeting.
