- Let's talk about some common blind spots when managing introverts. First, don't assume that your more introverted employees are shy or incapable of presenting, being charismatic in front of a large audience or performing well at an important meeting. It's not true. To encourage your introverts to present, even if they're intimidated, who isn't? Encourage them to get practice and feedback through presentation trainings. Public speaking is a learned skill. So don't overlook the opportunity to offer education. You'll be able to leverage your introverts' deep thoughts, analysis and ideas when they have more skill in front of a crowd. And by the way, almost everybody will benefit from presentation training, whether they're introverted or not.
