Yes, quick is good, but be thoughtful, so that you're not hasty. The goal is to be as quick as possible, while still following the basic advice we discussed. Next, strop trying to reinvent the wheel. So much time can be saved if you seek the assistance of people who've already survived what you are now facing. Quality relationships with a few more seasoned colleagues and a good mentor will always help you move forward faster. Finally, always pay special attention to the last step in the process, execution. A great decision can have a weak impact when it's not rolled out correctly.
