- Can you imagine the value of an individual who views you as their lifetime career agent. Your ability to establish rapport and trust begins with your interview and is solidified by nurturing and follow-up after you've placed them in a job. Your nurturing and follow-up efforts should focus on the information you learned during your initial interview and subsequent conversations. If they're confident, you can help them achieve their long-term career goals they will be more inclined to come back to you when they want to advance their career in the future.
