- Do you feel like you're too hard on yourself? Many do. The pressure we put on ourselves and others may help work get done in the short term, but if this pressure lasts for weeks, months, and years, it will eventually wear us down mentally and physically. Ultimately too much pressure results in failure. A more sustainable approach, is to focus on improvement rather than perfection. The problem is, if you've conditioned yourself to become critical of everything you see around you, you will also be critical of yourself. Most of us are creating pathways in our brains to look for what's wrong. Odds are, during this course, you might've found some mistake that I made and you focused on it for a little bit. That's okay.
