Form processing model requirements
- [ Narrator ] When you process forms with the AI builder, it extracts texts from the forms so that you can then store it somewhere. Typically, you'll pair the AI model for form processing with power automate. The 50,000 foot view of the workflow looks like this, a form is submitted, perhaps it's a form that's attached to an email message, perhaps the Submit action happens when you save the form in a particular SharePoint library. At that point, the workflow will hand this form to the AI builder model, and it will then extract the text out of the fields in the form, and those can be stored somewhere. The alternative to using the AI builder is typically a person who needs to open up that email or go look at that document and transcribe it from the form into a database. So this is a very useful tool to have. We can't just use any form, we can't for example use Microsoft forms, the forms we can use have to be JPEGs, PNGs or PDFs…
