- [Instructor] The GWNI Assessment. Purpose, to unearth your underlying motivations for developing the world's best talent. Superbosses fall into three categories when it comes to why they wish to develop talent. In "Superbosses" I wrote about glorious bastards, bosses who want to win but who understand that winning requires world-class teams, and so they do everything possible to push their people ahead. I have since renamed these bosses glorious winners, since I realized that readers might resist applying the bastard terminology to their own behavior. Classic examples of glorious winners, include technology entrepreneur Larry Ellison and legendary filmmaker Roger Corman. Then there are nurturers, a second category of superbosses, populated by the likes of longtime Kraft executive Michael Miles, and hospital magnate, Tommy Frist.
