- When I started in my latest sales job I knew why the product was good. I'd done my research by looking at their website and their offering. And I'd spoken to their MD and CEO and asked what their mission was as a business and how they'd won over the customers they already did. And I asked a few other employees what the company's values were. And all of it was really useful for formulating my initial sales pitch. But something was recommended to me, which was to speak to their existing customers about why they chose us in the first place. And even better why they'd stayed with us for all of these years. Some of the customers had been around for more than 15 years. So that must be for good reason. So I did just that.
