Getting ready
- There's a bit of a logical order to how you scale your business. Now like a lot of things in life, it's not always linear but there certainly are some foundational things that you need to think about before you really get serious about scaling. Now when you were in the true startup mode, you were trying to prove the concept, you were trying to see if there's anybody who actually wanted what your business did. Now when you move to scale, things are going to start happening much, much faster and you have to get ready for that. In fact, there was a survey by the Startup Genome that talked to 3,200 startups and the number one reason they failed, in fact 74% of the startups that failed was because of premature scaling. Trying to go big before they built the foundation. So a couple things I want you to think about.
