- If you're anything like me, there's at least one email getting stale in your inbox, who are we kidding, if not dozens. Two weeks, three weeks, four weeks without a reply. What's the hold up? It's just a message. But there must be some aspect of this particular pile that is causing indecision or hesitation. Maybe you have a similarly growing count of emails that require you to take action, and yet they never quite make the morning work sprint. New managers have a tendency, even with the best of intentions, of becoming bottlenecks for their team to get work done in several ways. Consider what's on your own plate as an example of this.
