How to capture computer screen footage
- When you're creating training videos, there will come a time when you're going to want to show people how to use a particular piece of computer software or maybe an app on your phone or tablet. The clearest way to do this is to record the screen as you're explaining what you're doing. This is called screen capture, fairly obviously. There's a whole host of solutions covering a whole host of different ways of working. Some have a few more bells and whistles than others, but the process remains more or less the same. So let me just show you how I find the screen capturing app on my iPhone as an example of using screen capture. Here's my home page there and I've got my settings down at the bottom, those little cogwheels so I just press on those. I've got a list of choices. We're going to head to the control center.
