- Imagine a sort of ultimate influence challenge. What if we had to convince very talented people with graduate degrees and great job opportunities to work long days outside in harsh weather, far from home without the usual comforts of civilization at times in danger and for almost no pay. There better be a great answer to why we're asking them to do that. And for executive influencers, there always is. Here's an example. Ben Labrot is president of Floating Doctors. They serve people who lack healthcare often reachable only by small boat or canoe in remote areas of the developing world. Ben's foundational purpose is to put the care into healthcare. Here's one of countless examples. They once spent all day and all night treating a woman who had severe complications with her pregnancy and from a remote village that carefully transported her across land and sea to a hospital.
