How to get input from others

- When you're not working in the same space, it highlights that you just don't see what your folks are doing all the time, and how they interact with others. That's why when you're getting ready for the virtual performance appraisal, your best bet is to get more voices in the room. Be up front about this when you talk about the process with your people. Tell them, as a part of my getting ready for the performance review, I'll plan to talk to some of the folks you work with to get their input. I'm thinking I'll ask five or so people you work with closely how they see you. I have a few ideas but who do you think has a good view of your work? When it comes to collecting this information, your company may have an online tool. And if so, use that.
