How racism shows up in the workplace

- Workplace racism typically shows up in three ways; systemic, individual and internalized. Let's explore each. Systemic racism refers to systems, processes, policies and cultural norms that work together to advantage a racial group. It impacts many different areas of life for many people of color. Let's take a quick look. Today, there are only four Black Fortune 500 CEOs. Black families have only 10% of the median net worth that white families have. These outcomes aren't an accident and they're not just the result of discrimination by a few bad actors.
