How to run a brilliant remote workshop

- It seems that everyone is trying to move their events online, from workshops to training sessions to conferences. And some people are doing it better than others. While many are trying to convert their in-person event into a digital format with minimal adaptation, others are understanding that it's better to redesign your event especially for the online world. You won't be surprised to hear that that is what this course is all about. Hi, I'm Dave Birss. I'm the author of a number of books on creativity and innovation, and I'm someone who's run loads of workshops, both in person and online. I've learned from my mistakes more than I care to admit to, and I've experimented to see what works best. Now I want to share some of these lessons with you. During this course, we'll be focusing on remote workshops in particular, but many of the principles are just as relevant to other online events. We'll look at the technology, how to keep the attention of attendees, and how to control things in an online environment. I'll even share some exercises I use for different kinds of workshop. Most of the lessons will also help to improve your in-person workshops once they start happening again. So this course should stay relevant for a long time to come. Stay exactly where you are, make yourself comfortable, and let's start the first lesson.
