How to use this course

- Now, this course is about driving measurable, sustainable change. That can mean a lot of things to a whole lot of people. But what I'm trying to do here is to provide you with a good management approach to change. I'm not following any particular theory or school of thought, though some of the ideas are informed by operational excellence best practices. Much of it comes from my work in the field. That said, this cost should provide value to anyone seeking to drive change that sustains in the long run. So, let me show you how this causes structured so that you can use it in the best way you see fit, because I know every organization is different. First, I will introduce the triple E model for sustainable change. It will provide a framework for the rest of our discussion. Don't worry. We'll go through the details. This model helps us understand how all of these elements work together to sustain change outcomes. Then, I'll go through how metrics play an important role, not just during the change implementation project, but more importantly, post project. This will help you identify where your specific change needs and challenges may be. After that, I'll go through each of the three E's of the triple E model: enable, empower, encourage. Going over the metrics gives us a way to identify problems, opportunities, and tools. Going into detail on the triple E model helps you identify and validate your solution. It makes sure you're on the right track. We'll go into more detail here and work through examples. If you need more than what we discuss here, look at exercise files, where I've provided some additional resources. You'll find a substantial list of relevant course videos on LinkedIn Learning. That way, you can customize your own learning path. Finally, at the end of this course, I challenge you with an assignment to complete a preflight checklist as you prepare for takeoff in your change implementation efforts. So what are you waiting for? Your organization cannot wait. You need to learn this stuff now. Let's get going.
